I had been sitting on this idea for a little while now. With Twilight: New Moon coming out on DVD this weekend (no, I will not link to it), I figured this was the opportune moment for this strip.

I would actually like to see Christoph Waltz from Inglourious Basterds as the Red Skull, but I also don’t want him to be type-cast as a Nazi.

The views expressed within this comic are not necessarily the views of the cartoonist. This is simply how I think the characters would react to this film if it was made in a world like theirs, where the paranormal is a little more normal.

As for my personal views of the movie, I liked it. I liked it a lot. I didn’t find it quite as scary or unnerving as I thought I would or as much as people are saying it is. However, I don’t blame this on the movie itself, but the experience of seeing it. We just barely made it into the midnight screening at the Music Box in Chicago. We were actually in a small group that got put into a tiny secondary theater to see it. The smallness of the screen and the theater, with its far too bright exit signs, combined with a group of people that were much too loud, hooting and hollering far more than screaming, resulted in a greatly less than ideal atmosphere for this kind of movie. But it was free, so I’m not really complaining. I’ll enjoy it when it is released on DVD, when I can watch it in the comfort of my own pitch black living room, just me and my girlfriend. I think it will be much creepier then. But still, a cool flick to be sure.

Seriously, so much of the so-called “food” I see peddled on television is totally disgusting. I just can’t eat this stuff anymore. Most of it doesn’t even taste good to me anymore, let alone what it does to my digestive system.

And why is everything smothered with chesse?! Even the sit-down restaurants have this problem, it’s not just the fast food joints. Maybe we wouldn’t have to worry about healthcare so much if we’d all just stop eating this crap.

For those who didn’t pay attention in English class: What Dreams May Come was a line in Hamlet long before it was a movie starring Robin Williams and Cuba Gooding, Jr.

I think this might be my new personal favorite strip.
