I completed the first of the new batch of Grimstone comic strips yesterday. I was originally planning on switching over to black and white, however, my comics never look very good like this. I like the color too much. It’s more work, but since I’m only updating MWF, it’s not a big deal. So new comics, beginning March 3rd, shall continue to be in color.

I am starting to get use to the Wacom tablet. I really do like it. I’m still doing my pencils on paper and using the tablet for inking. Someday, I may progress to doing everything via the tablet. As part of the new comics, I am tweaking some character designs, revising color here, giving people new outfits there. Once I have the main characters completed, I am going to update the Cast and Bonus pages. For now though, I’d like to share the new looks for Count Cyanide and Sara Morningstar, both of which have a more Gothic feel to them. Again, these were drawn with pencil on paper and inked digitally with my Wacom. You will see these revised designs immediately in the new comics.
