Today’s comic strip marks a bit of a milestone for me. This is the 150th Grimstone comic strip that I have done. Granted, I have been doing the comic strip (off and on) since 2000, so it’s not really an impressive accomplishment, even when you consider I didn’t work on the comic at all from 2003-2006. Actually, that makes it even less impressive. But the point is not how long it took me to get to #150. The point is I got there. And things are moving full steam ahead from here. No more lengthy hiatuses (hiati?) again. Once I finish Dawn of the Morningstar, I think I’ll be doing more short storylines and singles for a while. It’ll probably be a few months before I get to another long storyline. Just gonna kick back and have some fun with the characters. Build up their relationships and interaction with one another. Make sure I firmly establish Ribcage as the main character and star of the comic. Show the rivalry and tension between Cyanide and Furface (the whole vampire against werewolf thing). Grow the friendship betweem Ribcage and Sara. Fun times ahead.
