I’m trying to write worthwhile stuff for these posts, I really am. But my comics aren’t very topical or anything. It’s not like I’m dealing with real world issues or current events. And I feel I should write something since I’ve gone through all the trouble of using WordPress for my site. I suppose, if I really wanted to, I could forego the commentary on the individual strips and just set up the bottom of the page as a generic blog, for news, comments, random thoughts. You know, the typical blog stuff. And leave the comics without all this pointless drivel. Let them speak for themselves. But I like having something written for each comic. Helps add some content. I guess I’ll just try not to ramble and be less longwinded.
Anyway, this comic is only 50% new stuff. First two panels are recycled, last two are new. It’s not that I’m lazy or that I don’t enjoy drawing. I do. I actually enjoyed drawing this comic and the next one very much. It’s just that if I know that what I want in a panel is pretty much an image I’ve already drawn once, then I don’t want to draw the exact same thing again. It’s just not going to look as good as the first one. See, I have a background in animation, still going to school for it actually. And in animation, when you’re doing 24 drawings for every second, you don’t draw any more than you have to. If you can resuse drawings, or portions of drawings, you do. And so that mentality carries over into my cartooning.

Too late on the not rambling bit
