One of the things I always use to love in comic books was when a story referenced previous events or something that happened in another book, the editor would have a little note saying what issue it happened in. That way, if you were unfamiliar with the whole story, wanted to catch up on details you may have missed, etc., you could find that back issue and not feel lost or left out of the story. This, of course, inevitably led you to another back issue, and that one led to another, and another, and before you knew it you had 12 long boxes filling up your parents basement. It’s how the addiction starts.
Unfortunately, (or is that thankfully?) they don’t seem to do that in comics nearly as much as they use to. I, however, am going to continue that tradition here. So if you, like Ribcage, don’t recall exactly what Vincent Price is talking about, or if you have no idea whatsoever, then check out the strip from August 5, 2001 for all the important details. And you should probably read the one after that too. And the one after that. Hell, just read the whole archive if you haven’t already. You’ll thank me later.
Double, ha!
