The Return of Malcolm Spookster

Grimstone proudly presents the long awaited return of Malcolm J. Spookster, agent to the undead. Spookster is Ribcage’s agent, first appearing in the second Grimstone comic strip and last appearing waaay back in July 2003! That is a long time. Spookster will be appearing more often now, since I’ve decided to bring Ribcage’s Hollywood career back into the comic.

Blog

Assorted Stuff

So the site is more or less done being upgraded and now it is time to get back to work. New comics coming soon, along with some more content for the Bonus page, including new character evolutions.

I am also still looking for a new day job. Grimstone doesn’t exactly pay the bills, never has. It’s more a labor of love. You know, when I’m actually laboring on it. So if anyone has any job opportunities they’d like to let me know about, feel free to Email me. I’d most like to do something comics or animation related, but I am also versed in and enjoy web & graphic design, computer programming, and video editing. For now, perhaps I will borrow a page from DJ Coffman’s playbook. (Sorry to hear about the whole Platinum/HBN fiasco mate. You really took it right in the ass on that one). And it would be nice if Wowio got back to me on adding my stuff to their site, but I guess they’re busy with other matters.

In the meantime, I’ll keep renting my Netflix and playing City of Heroes (look for me on Champion server, global handle Captain Redwing). And, you know, working on Grimstone.

…And We’re Back

Welcome back everyone. I’ve gotten the site totally upgraded under the hood. We are running the most recent version of WordPress with the newest, tricked-out version of Tyler Martin’s wonderful ComicPress theme. I’ve gone through and given all the archives appropriate titles, except for Dawn of the Morningstar since that is meant to be read as a graphic novel, and used the WordPress tag system to create storyline archives. I’ve reformatted some of the older comic pages into Sunday-sized comic strips, reworked the About and Cast pages into one cohesive page, purged the old blog entries, and done other assorted tweaks and updates. Now, if I only I would start posting new comics.

In all seriousness, new comic strips will be coming soon, I’m just reworking parts of the current storyline and deciding what kind of schedule to keep. I’m still considering going with a large format weekly strip. We’ll see.
